What is Blindness? What is Visual Impairment?

We are happy for the chance to clear up misconceptions about what blindness is.

The popular image of a blind person is someone with no visual perception at all. In fact, many people who are classified as blind have some usable vision.

Only a small percentage of our employees are completely blind. The rest have one of many impairments or limitations.

The one thing our people who are blind have in common is that they are extraordinarily capable. Visitors who tour our facility are frequently astounded at the productivity they see.
